Background & story
Ito Onsen is best known for its summer fireworks (Anjin Matsuri, 'Yume Hanabi'). This December show closes the year on the same seafront, paired with a winter edition of the local yosakoi dance festival 'Sozura Matsuri'.

Good to know
The seafront is windy and cold in December. The fireworks last only 30 minutes, so arrive for the dance stages first. There is no parking; the train to Ito Station (10 min walk) is the reliable option.
