Background & story
Tokyo Disney Resort's autumn Halloween season is a fan-favorite tradition mixing villain spectacle, seasonal decor and guest cosplay across both parks.
Disney Halloween 2026 is on now at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea and runs through Saturday, October 31 (it began September 16). The second full-costume window is Friday, October 16 – Saturday, October 31. There is no changing space inside the parks, so arrive already dressed. Everything below was checked on October 14, 2026.

The event dates (from Sept 16) and the costume windows (from Sept 15) don't line up exactly. The second costume window ends on the event's last day, October 31. Only DisneySea's Lazos de la Familia carries on to Monday, November 2.
Before you go in full costume (Oct 16–31)
Which characters you can dress as
- Characters who appear at Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea and the Disney Hotels (including attraction characters)
- Dancers and performers from the parks' and hotels' parades and shows
- Characters from works on the official "costume-eligible works list"
Not every Disney title qualifies. Check the work's name on the list on the official costume page (Japanese) before you buy or make a costume.
Costumes and makeup that will not be admitted
- Revealing outfits (swimwear or underwear as a costume, full-body tights that emphasize the body line)
- Dresses or items that drag on the ground or are too wide to pass the entrance
- Makeup that paints the whole face a non-skin color, or that draws or sticks on blood or scars
- Masks, fake noses and rubber masks
One-point makeup or stickers around the eyes or cheeks that match your character are fine.
Props you cannot bring
- Sticks or staffs taller than your own waist (you also can't bring one in pieces and assemble it inside)
- Toy or replica guns, blade-style weapons and armor (in principle; toys bought at Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea are allowed)
- Inline skates (including shoes with rollers), kick scooters and skateboards
Where do I change?
There is no changing space inside Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea. Do your costume and makeup at home or at your hotel. Changing or doing makeup in public facilities, restrooms or multipurpose restrooms inside or outside the parks, or at lockers, is not allowed either. Outside the parks, a paid, reservation-only changing space runs at Garden Site, IKSPIARI Cinema Area 1F (Oct 16–31, 8:00–22:00, ¥1,100 or ¥1,300 per 30-minute slot; checked 2026-10-14). Check availability and book on the official changing-space page.
On costume days, the costume check at the entrance can add time before you get in.
Tickets: what to know before you book
Park tickets are sold for a specific date with variable pricing, and go on sale at 14:00 (Japan time) two months ahead of the same calendar date. Every date through October 31 is already on sale, so check stock and price for your date on the official ticket site. A 1-Day Passport is fixed to one date and one park. The Halloween parade and decorations are included with a regular park ticket.
The weekends left in the second costume window are Oct 17–18, Oct 24–25 and the final day, Saturday Oct 31. Buy only from the official site or an authorized seller.
Getting there
Both parks are reached via the JR Keiyo/Musashino Line to Maihama Station, then a short walk to Tokyo Disneyland or a transfer to the Disney Resort Line monorail on to Tokyo DisneySea.
