由来与背景
A car-customising (dress-up and tuning) motor show first held in 1997. Apart from the second show in 1998, held at Osaka Dome, every edition has taken place at INTEX Osaka (official exhibitor guide). Its slogan since 2024 is "Omoroi Ashita Mugendai" — roughly, "fun tomorrows, infinite possibilities".
Osaka Auto Messe 2027 runs for three days, Friday 12 to Sunday 14 February 2027, at INTEX Osaka in Osaka's Nanko waterfront district. Doors are open 9:00–18:00. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale in December 2026 and 2027 prices have not been announced yet; for reference, a 2026 general ticket cost ¥3,000 in advance and ¥3,500 on the day.
Osaka Auto Messe (often shortened to OAM) is a car-customising motor show first held in 1997. The 2027 show is the 30th edition. It is organised by the Automesse Association, with the show office run by Kotsu Times Sha's Osaka branch, and the organiser's exhibitor guide says it plans to use every hall at INTEX Osaka plus the outdoor exhibition area. This page sticks to what the official site and the venue's own pages say — when it is, what time it opens, when you can buy tickets, and how to get there (checked 2026-10-13).

Silent time is the window when exhibitors refrain from promoting their booths through sound systems. On the first morning, Friday 12 February, until 13:00, the halls are noticeably quieter — a good slot if you want to look at the cars properly, take photos, or bring small children.
How busy is each day? (2026 figures)
The organiser's 2027 exhibitor guide lists daily attendance for the previous show (the 29th, 13–15 February 2026), as counted by the show office:
| Day | Weather | Visitors |
|---|---|---|
| Fri 13 Feb 2026 | Sunny | 43,578 |
| Sat 14 Feb 2026 | Sunny | 82,244 |
| Sun 15 Feb 2026 | Cloudy, sunny spells | 87,581 |
| Three-day total | — | 213,403 |
Friday drew roughly half the crowd of either weekend day. There were 373 exhibitors and 702 cars on display. The 2027 show keeps the same Friday–Sunday pattern, so if you want space to move, Friday is the day to pick.
Tickets: 2027 prices not yet announced
According to the official exhibitor guide, 2027 admission tickets are scheduled to go on sale in December 2026. Prices and sales channels will appear on the official ticket page (https://www.automesse.jp/ticket/ , Japanese); as of 2026-10-13 that page still shows the 2026 terms, summarised below for reference only.
| Ticket type (2026 show) | Advance | On the day |
|---|---|---|
| General | ¥3,000 | ¥3,500 |
| Special U-22 | ¥2,000 | ¥2,500 |
| Special, visitors with a disability certificate (one carer free) | ¥2,000 | ¥2,500 |
- In 2026, each general ticket let one accompanying child of junior-high age or younger in free.
- A ticket was valid once, on any one day of the show. Re-entry was not allowed.
- Pets were not admitted, except assistance, guide and hearing dogs.
- Groups of 20 or more (general or students) could ask the show office about a group discount.
- In 2026, same-day tickets were sold during the show at convenience stores, ticket agencies and the venue's entrance gates.
Because 2027 prices and conditions may change, check the official site before you buy. Ticket sales run through Japanese ticketing services, so overseas visitors may find it simplest to buy on the day if same-day sales are offered again.
Getting there
- By train: Nakafuto Station on the Nanko Port Town Line (New Tram) is about a 5-minute walk; Cosmosquare Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line is about a 9-minute walk (official site). The venue warns that Nakafuto Station gets very crowded during events and asks visitors arriving on the Chuo Line to get off at Cosmosquare instead.
- Journey times: about 40 minutes from Umeda or Namba and about 45 minutes from Shin-Osaka (INTEX Osaka's official access page).
- By car: about 5 minutes from the Nanko-kita or Nanko-minami exits of the Hanshin Expressway (official site). The organiser stresses that parking is limited and heavy traffic is expected, and asks visitors to use public transport. INTEX Osaka's two car parks (Times INTEX Osaka Nakafuto and the rooftop car park) charge ¥1,000 per entry on event days (at Nakafuto, valid until midnight), but the venue notes that rates can vary by event and asks drivers to check the fee when they enter.
What you will see
The show centres on dress-up (styling) and tuning (performance) customised cars, along with stands selling custom parts, car audio, accessories and merchandise. Recent shows have included the MUSIC PIT stage run with the radio stations FM802 and FM COCOLO, a SUPER GT stage, and the kids' area "Kodomobility". The line-up of exhibitors and events for 2027 has not been announced yet.
Tips before you go
- Pick Friday to avoid the weekend crowds, and the first morning's silent time if you want quieter halls for photos.
- There is no re-entry, so bring water and a warm layer with you — February winds off Osaka Bay are cold.
- Nakafuto Station is packed at closing time; walking on to Cosmosquare is a useful fallback.
- If you are staying in the city that evening, our Osaka After Dark guide covers nightlife and street food.

温馨提示
In 2026 Friday drew 43,578 visitors versus more than 80,000 on each weekend day, so Friday is the quiet day — and its morning silent time is the calmest slot. There is no re-entry, so carry water and a warm layer. At closing time Nakafuto Station is packed; the venue suggests Cosmosquare (Chuo Line) instead.
