Ebisu Nightlife Guide: Yokocho, Bars, Clubs and the Last Train

For Ebisu nightlife, eat at Ebisu Yokocho, move to a bar or a live show, and head back before your line's last train, which ranges from about 23:00 to 0:50.

How to plan a night in Ebisu

Ebisu Station is served by the JR Yamanote, Saikyo and Shonan-Shinjuku lines and the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. Pick one of two plans:

• Dinner, then bars: Eat at Ebisu Yokocho, then move on to Bar Tram or Bar Trench.
• Go for the music: Eat early, then head to a show at LIQUIDROOM or BATICA. Late-night events run past the last train.

Your station exit depends on where you are going. As a guide, use the East Exit for Ebisu Yokocho and Yebisu Garden Place, and the West Exit for LIQUIDROOM and BATICA.

Ebisu Yokocho

• Where: 1-7-4 Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, two minutes from JR Ebisu Station's East Exit or from the Hibiya Line station.
• What it is: A former market of independent shops, converted into an alley of small food and drink stalls. The official site lists charcoal grills, Kyoto-style oden, kushiage, seafood grills, offal teppanyaki and mushroom dishes, among others.
• Is it a bar street? Not really. If you are searching for Ebisu Yokocho bars, expect casual places to eat and drink rather than cocktail bars. It works well for a first drink and dinner.
• Hours and reservations: The official site asks you to contact each shop directly, and there are no shared hours.

Choose by what you want to drink and how many people are with you. This table only uses conditions stated by the bars.

Bar Tram

Swing Building 2F, 1-7-13 Ebisu-Nishi, Shibuya-ku. Tram focuses on absinthe, herbal liqueurs and cocktails, and says there is no table charge. It also runs as a cafe from 13:00 to 19:00, Wednesday to Sunday and on holidays. Official: Bar Tram.

Bar Trench

DIS Building 102, 1-5-8 Ebisu-Nishi, Shibuya-ku. Trench opened in 2010 as Tram's second location. Seating is limited, so the bar asks guests to come in small groups. Official: Bar Trench.

LIQUIDROOM

3-16-6 Higashi, Shibuya-ku, three minutes from JR Ebisu Station's West Exit or exit 2 of the Hibiya Line station. Late-night shows do not admit under-20s and require photo ID. See the official schedule.

Time Out Cafe & Diner

On LIQUIDROOM's second floor, this space calls itself a cafe by day and a diner with music at night. Regular hours are 11:30-21:00 Tuesday to Friday and 13:00-20:00 on Saturday, closed Mondays, Sundays and holidays. Hours change on event dates. Check entry rules on the event listing. BATICA

ICE CUBE 1F/2F, 3-1-25 Ebisu-Minami, Shibuya-ku, three minutes from the Ebisu statue at the West Exit. It hosts live and DJ events. One example is colere on Wednesday 2026-11-11, at 2,000 yen in advance and 2,500 yen at the door, plus one drink. There are evening shows too, so check times on the official site. BLISS EBISU

BLISS EBISU is a venue at 2F, 1-9-4 Ebisu-Minami, Shibuya-ku, about three minutes on foot from Ebisu Station. It hosts the Matsuri Launch Party, a house music party, on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 16:00 to 22:00. See the event page. Around Yebisu Garden Place

Yebisu Garden Place is at 4-20 Ebisu, Shibuya-ku. It is five minutes from JR Ebisu Station's East Exit along the Ebisu Skywalk moving walkway, or seven minutes from Hibiya Line exit 1.

For winter 2026, the illumination and Christmas market is scheduled for 11/14 to 12/25, with some lights staying until 2027/2/28. Baccarat ETERNAL LIGHTS is scheduled for 11/14 to 2027/1/11.
