Background & story
Kanda is one of Tokyo's densest curry districts. The Grand Prix started in 2011 and pits selected local shops against each other in a public taste-off, with visitors voting on the day to pick the winner.
Kanda Curry Grand Prix 2026 — the 14th Kanda Curry Grand Prix final — takes place on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026 at Ogawa Hiroba in Kanda, Tokyo. Kanda is one of Tokyo's densest curry districts; shops that survive the preliminaries serve at the venue and visitors vote for the year's No.1. Entry is free and curry is sold per dish.

The official preliminary page lists 50 participating shops and is running a fan vote (checked 13 September 2026). The finalists are chosen from this pool.
Last edition (2025, 13th) for reference
The 2025 final ran on 1–2 November at the same Ogawa Hiroba. According to the organizer's press release it drew over 36,000 visitors, and the Grand Prix went to Odori (Ōdorī) Kanda-Surugadai. Doors opened at 11:00 both days with about 20 shops; free entry and per-dish curry tickets are the same format for 2026.

Tips
Popular shops sell out early. Decide how to split your tickets across several shops and start at 11:00 when curry service begins. The shop list and prices will appear on the official site closer to the event — re-check before you go.
