- As of 2026-10-11 the organizer has not announced the 2027 dates. The most recent edition, Earth Day Tokyo 2026, ran Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April 2026, 10:00–18:00 (confirmed via the organizer's 2026-04-15 press release and exhibitor Greenpeace Japan's notice; dates also on GO TOKYO). GO TOKYO says the festival is held around 22 April every year, so check the official site (earthday-tokyo.org) for the confirmed 2027 dates.
- Where is it held?
- In 2026 the venue was Yoyogi Park's Event Plaza and the Keyaki (zelkova) Avenue beside it (organizer press releases of 2025-12-12 and 2026-04-01, and ELEMINIST of 2026-04-03; checked 2026-10-11). The 2027 venue has not been announced yet — confirm on the official site.
- Is there an admission fee?
- Admission in 2026 was free (the organizer's 2026-04-15 press release lists admission as free, and GO TOKYO also lists it as free; checked 2026-10-11). You pay only for food, drinks and goods at the booths. Confirm 2027 pricing on the official site.
- How do I get to Yoyogi Park?
- Harajuku Station (JR Yamanote Line), Yoyogi-koen Station (Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line) and Meiji-jingumae (Harajuku) Station (Chiyoda/Fukutoshin lines) are each a 2–3 minute walk; Yoyogi-hachiman Station (Odakyu Line) is about 6 minutes (Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association's Yoyogi Park page and GO TOKYO, checked 2026-10-11). The park advises using public transport on weekends and holidays because the roads outside get congested.
- What is the festival like, and what if it rains?
- In 2026 about 300 booths covering environmental protection, international cooperation, organic food and ethical goods filled the site, with programs on the Earth Day Concert and Hello Earth stages (organizer press release of 2026-04-01 and ELEMINIST, 2026-04-03; checked 2026-10-11). The sources checked on 2026-10-11 do not state a rain policy (the official site was unreachable that day), so check the official site or social accounts on the day for go/no-go updates.
