Origine & histoire
Opened in 1906 by silk magnate Hara Sankei, who relocated tea houses, pagodas and halls from Kyoto and Kamakura into one landscaped garden. It marks its 120th year in 2026.
Bon à savoir
Open 9:00–17:00 (last entry 16:30); come early in summer for the lotus at the ponds.
