Origine & histoire

Aquarium Bus is one of Japan's largest aquatic-life sales events, held several times a year in Asakusa. The 49th edition gathers roughly 200 specialist sellers of tropical fish and aquarium goods from across the country.

Bon à savoir

Go early and bring cash; if you buy live fish, ask sellers about oxygen-packing for the trip home and keep the bag out of the sun.

On-the-ground coverage of Japan's festivals, culture and nightlife.
